This policy explains what information AverageRentCost.com collects when you visit, how it is used, and the choices you have. It was last updated in October 2026.
Information we collect
We do not require accounts or registration to read this site. Like most websites, our server keeps standard log files (internet protocol address, browser type, internet service provider, date and time stamp, referring and exit pages, and number of clicks). These logs are used to analyze trends, administer the site, and understand which pages readers find useful; they are not linked to personally identifiable information. If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, and we use them only to reply.

Children's information
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention and security
Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and maintenance, then deleted or anonymized. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to answer and to maintain a record of data corrections. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the small amount of information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for responding to it, this site does not currently respond to those signals; you can use the cookie choices described above, including the Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info opt-outs, to control personalized advertising.
